The farmstead Il Caplé , which in Piedmontese dialect means “hatter”, traces back its origins at the end of 1600 when it was the seat of a religious institution. With the arrival of Napoleon, in 1800, the religious orders were abolished and the farmstead was bought by the “boulanger” Giovanbattista Festa.
After various vicissitudes in 1904 the farmstead was bought by my great grandfather. In 1994, 100 years later, I (Enrico) decided to recover “Il Caplè”, restoring it in a definitive way.
So the farmstead “Il Caplè” begins its activity, offering a bed & breakfast solution for those who visit the town of Asti and its hills or for those who just want to find relax in the nature, in the countryside between Asti and Alba.
